Overview

Penny Acres is located on 23 quiet, wooded acres in historic Grantville, GA. Grantville is in Coweta County, Georgia's 67th county. The county bears the name of the Coweta Indians, a Creek tribe headed by William McIntosh, Jr., the half-Scott, half- Creek who relinquished lands to the Federal government in the 1825 Treaty of Indian Springs. Grantville’s history dates back to the 1830’s.

 

The community was originally named Calico Corner and has been host to Franklin Roosevelt, Madame Chiang Kai-shek and Jimmy Carter. It retains its southern charm, beautiful old homes, cottages, mill villages, and original downtown business district.

 

Penny Acres is a private retreat, located within walking distance of city’s historic district. It is where you will see deer playing and hear church bells ringing in the distance. There’s plenty of space to stretch out, kick back and get away from it all. There’s even a personal workspace where you can connect to your office or the world via wireless internet access.

 

We think of Penny Acres as being only 5 minutes from I-85, 40 minutes from the world via Atlanta’s International Airport and only a click away from the world via the Internet.

Penny Acres is 5 minutes from I-85, at exit 35. Easy access to Atlanta, Peachtree City, Newnan, LaGrange, Columbus and Hampton, GA.

Penny Acres is one suite with 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, tile bath with shower, living room with dine-in area, and a private entrance off a large park-like patio.

 

The apartment is tastefully decorated in a comfortable, eclectic style. You’ll relish in the quiet, peaceful surroundings and there is no extra charge

 

Penny Acres offers many safety features as well as: utilities, garbage pickup, on premises parking, satellite television, VCR/DVD, a small library of books, DVDs and videos. Housewares and linens are also included.

 

As an added value, we include housekeeping and linen services with all rental packages.  A Personal Assistant is also available for a low hourly rate.
